Rich has spent his entire career in the financial services industry
specializing in sales and marketing. In 1993, he formed North Bridge Capital
where he currently serves as President and Managing Member.
His career began in 1972 upon graduation from San Diego State University where
he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Following graduation,
Rich spent four years with Shearson Hayden Stone as a retail stockbroker.
While there he became a top producer in the region and was promoted to Second
Vice President.
In 1978, he entered the commercial real estate business with Coldwell Banker
Commercial in San Francisco. In 1979, he was part of the team which opened a
new regional office in Boston. He joined Cushman & Wakefield in 1985 as a Vice
President and became one of their Top 100 Brokers nationally. He left Cushman
& Wakefield in 1990 as Senior Vice President.
Following his real estate career, he joined Greg Reid Associates, an
independent marketing firm for institutional investment managers. He was hired
as Vice President, responsible for covering institutional investors around the
country.
Alex is responsible for raising institutional capital for our clients. He
brings fifteen years of experience in developing and structuring business
relationships.
Alex started his career in the financial services industry with Arthur Laffer
Associates, providing perspective on the economic and political environment to
the investment community. Subsequently, Alex spent several years in a
business development role for Turner Broadcasting System. After TBS, he
co-founded and grew an internet marketing services company raising $35 million
from top venture firms including Mayfield Fund.
Alex holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics and
Political Science from the University of North Carolina.
Brett joined North Bridge Capital in 1995. She brings twenty-two years of
institutional marketing experience. Responsible for marketing strategy, client
service and consultant liaison, she also handles all aspects of business
management for the firm and serves as North Bridge Capital, LLC's Financial /
Operations Principal.
Previously with Putnam Investments in Boston, she supported the sales and
product development teams in the Institutional Management Department as lead
writer and manager of the proposal writing team.
Prior to Putnam, Brett enjoyed seven years with Templeton International in Ft.
Lauderdale. There she served as the coordinator of corporate marketing
projects for the entire organization, including six international offices.
